Founder,author, trainer and chef Kwasa Khepera, was introduced to living foods back in 1994 in a workshop Brooklyn, NY, and it blew a whole new view of food in her mind! Never having tasted anything like it, she pursued living foods basic and advanced education courses in New York City. After two decades of exploring almost every health fad in the health and fitness industry, she resolved no more diets, settled on simply consuming 100% whole unprocessed living foods exclusively, this is in spite of having been trained in various international cooking techniques. She credits her Grandma Lu and mother with giving her a gift for flavor and the love and wisdom of feeding people with love.

Kwasa traveled domestically and internationally as a flight attendant for almost five years, often working out and eating from what was in her suitcase as a vegetarian. After not being impressed with the traditional college nutrition program, she studied at the Natural Gourmet Cooking School, then enrolled and graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education in 2002. She completed her externship at one of the most popular restaurants in New York City. She is also a well sought after personal trainer at one of New York's most popular health clubs and trains clients in gyms and privately. Kwasa is She has competed successfully in fitness competitions and worked as a certified personal trainer with the National Association of Sports Medicine at Equinox Fitness for over 10 years (2005-2015). Kwasa is certified in Kettlebell training, a registered instructor with the Yoga Alliance 200RYT, Pre & Post Natal fitness certified, and has over 25 years experience in whole foods nutrition and fitness.
